Theresa Mustone

Theresa Mustone, a lifelong resident of Stoneham, passed away December 19, 2022, at the age of 92.  She was the eighth child of thirteen, born to Joseph and Marie (Gallella) Mustone.

Theresa graduated from Stoneham High School and, for the following forty years, worked for the Frank Tranfaglia Insurance Company in Revere.

Even though Theresa never had children, she was a Godmother and second mother to many nieces and nephews.  She was a strong, generous, hardworking person.  She belonged to prayer groups at St Patrick Church and knitted numerous prayer shawls for the parishioners.  She belonged to two arts and crafts groups, volunteered at the local library, the Boys and Girls Club and organized numerous travel vacations for the Stoneham Senior Center. She donated selflessly to homeless shelters and her church and sold Mass Cards, as well.

Theresa is survived by her sister, Carol Mustone of Stoneham, her sister-in-law Muriel "Tootsie" Mustone of North Reading, her brother-in-law Leo Valente of Stoneham and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Michael, Joseph, Anthony, John, Christie and James Mustone and sisters Frances Simonin, Mary Gargano, Susan Comendul, Adeline Valente and Barbara Earle.

Visitation will be at the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Wednesday, December 28th, 10:00 A.M. until Noon, followed by a Prayer Service.  Burial at 12:45 P.M. in St. Patrick Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate, in Theresa's memory, to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Stoneham and Wakefield, 15 Dale Court, P.O.
