William Kevin. Mckenna

William “Billy” K. McKenna,  October 8, 1958-September 5, 2022.

Bill passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 63, after suffering with Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Dementia. Born October 8, 1958, in Beverly, he is predeceased by his parents, William McKenna and Rita (McDonald) McKenna.  He leaves a son, Kevin McKenna of Florida, who he loved more than life itself. He also leaves his 3 sisters, Kathleen Bradley and her husband Richard, Elizabeth O’Donnell and her husband David and Rita McKenna-Cohen and her husband Jason. Also, nephews Benjamin Bradley, Eric Cohen and a niece Megan Cohen. Bill also leaves Marissa McKenna, who supported him through his journey with BVFD.

While a teenager, Bill was a leader at the YMCA where his younger sisters were known as Billy McKenna’s little sisters. He enjoyed cooking, the outdoors and working with computers. Bill enjoyed spending time with his son, swimming, sledding and taking walks.

His Memorial Gathering will be held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home on Monday September 26, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Private burial in North Beverly Cemetery.
